KoraHR and a brand new approach to HR consultancy
I was delighted to be brought in on this project through my BNI Cardiff City network. Leanne Yau, director of Highfield HR and a fellow BNI member, came to me specifically because of my experience building complex WordPress websites. Thank you for the introduction Leanne.
Leanne’s business was going through an exciting transformation. Highfield HR was rebranding as Kora HR, with a fresh identity created by local agency Lime Green Tangerine. Part of the project was supported by a local authority grant, which helped bring the new brand to life properly.
The goal was not just a new name and a new look, but a completely new business model. Kora HR wanted to move beyond the local South Wales market and offer HR consultancy services by subscription to businesses across the UK. That meant the website needed to do considerably more than simply look the part.
I designed and built the new website on WordPress, with a fully customised subscription purchase system at its core. Built using WooCommerce and Paid Memberships Pro, clients can browse KoraHR’s service tiers, choose the subscription that suits their business, the number of employees they have and add further services at the point of purchase. Once subscribed, clients gain access to a members-only area of the site packed with HR resources and guidance that the casual visitor simply cannot see. The site also features brand imagery and video content supplied by the KoraHR team, which brings the business to life and reflects the quality of the new brand.
The whole build is hosted on GD Graphics eco-friendly website hosting, powered by renewable energy, so KoraHR can grow their digital presence with a minimal environmental footprint.
Kora HR has just had a soft launch and I am really looking forward to seeing the subscription model grow as the business expands its reach across the UK. Find out more on the live website at korahr.co.uk
