Is Your Website Ready for AI Search? Try the Free GD Graphics Audit

More people are starting their search with a question, rather than a short string of keywords. They ask Google, ChatGPT or Perplexity for a recommendation, a comparison or a way to solve a problem. The answer they receive may include a small number of cited websites — but only if those websites are clear enough for the tools to understand.

That is why I have added a free AI Search Audit to the GD Graphics website. Put in your website address and it will check ten practical signals, then give you a traffic-light score in a few moments. There is no sign-up required.

What the AI Search Audit looks for

AI tools still need the same basic confidence signals that make a website usable, trustworthy and easy to interpret. The audit checks for:

  • a meta description and a clear main heading;
  • a secure HTTPS connection, canonical URL and Open Graph tags;
  • useful FAQ content on the page;
  • structured data (JSON-LD schema);
  • LocalBusiness schema with a name, address and telephone number;
  • FAQPage schema; and
  • review and rating schema where it is appropriate.

The result is a score out of 100. Red means there are fundamental gaps; amber means some of the important signals are in place but work remains; and green means the site is well set up for AI tools to understand. It is a quick diagnostic, not a promise that any particular AI answer will cite a website — the actual answer will always depend on the question and the available sources.

Why it matters now

Traditional SEO has not disappeared. A well-structured website, clear page content and solid technical foundations still matter. But the way people find information is changing. When someone asks an AI tool for a local service, the tool needs to be able to establish what a business does, where it operates and whether the information on the site is dependable.

If those basics are missing, a great business can be overlooked simply because its website is difficult for a machine to interpret. The audit gives you a straightforward starting point before deciding what to tackle next.

Three ways to take it further

Once you have your score, you can choose the level of help that suits you:

  • Full Audit Report — £49: a PDF showing every check, what passed, what failed and what to fix.
  • Fix it for you — from £499: I can add the right schema, write FAQ content and address the agreed technical gaps. The final price depends on the platform and scope of the work.
  • Ongoing AI Search & SEO — from £99 per month: monthly optimisation, new FAQ content, schema updates and a report, with a six-month minimum term.

For the hands-on work, I will first look at how your site is built and give you a fixed quote with a clear description of what is included. This is especially useful if you run a WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Shopify or straightforward HTML website and are not sure where to begin.
